Symone Knox (b. 1998) is a photographer based out of the Hudson Valley, NY.
Much of her work centers around memory, loss, and trauma — often rooted in her understanding of history and deeply connected to her identity as a Black woman and an artist.
Her work has been exhibited both in the United States and abroad, including the Wilgus Gallery in Baltimore, MD, Smack Mellon in Brooklyn, NY, and The Center for Photographers of Color in Fayetteville, AR.
Symone graduated from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 2021, where she obtained her BFA in Photography.
